Bubble tip just split for first time - anything I should know?

Was watching my maroon clown play around in the bubble tip earlier and noticed it was pretty puffed up - came back a few hours later and it had split.

Both peices have very wide open mouths - but the original was eating almost daily and very healthy. I'm assuming the open mouths are from energy burned in the split.

Just wondering if there's anything I should know about it.

I'm really not sure but I was thinking about getting a bubble tip-- how long did it take to split? I don't want them to take over my tank!?!?!?!?

The main reason most nems split is from stress. The animal figures it has a better rate of survival as 2 than as a single animal. You must not feed these animals every day. It takes a lot of energy to digest all that food. Good lighting is even more important than feeding, as it gets most of it's energy from light. Feed only 1-2x/week.

Been feeding it a peice of krill every three or four days. Problem is the clown fish hosting in it likes to grab peices of food from other fish and bring it back to the anenome's to eat. They accept every time.
