Bubble Wands

Hi, I just got back from the store and added my finishing touches to my 50 gallon tank. I placed a bubble wand in it, and I'm wondering what the pros of it are besides looking nice.

Bubble wands create a nice upward flow pattern that helps oxyginate the water through gas transfur and mainly from serface agitation. they can also help keep the substrait clean if you bury them in an S pattern. The rope type work best for this.

i agree with wolf... they also create bubble pads... which can be place under gravel and help lift of debris
