i just cleaned my tank and put in some treatment to take away the chlorine...well a couple hours later the top of my water looks foamy/soapy....looks like theres soap in my water....what could this be?...this happened before...

This is happening to me too. I posted almost the same question in the filtration forums, and a person said it may be the aloe in the water treatment. Whatever it is it's making me mad, I have millions of tinny tiney bubbles on the surfce of the water and bubbles in the wet/dry filter. It sucks, and this weekend I'm changin the water with a different water treatment to see if that helps.
probally just the chemicals you added to your tank they will go away added surface aggitation will help
i like prime switched to it a month or so back dosnt have any extra regents in it less foam for me .
I also exclusively use Prime. I have before used other water conditioners that did cause some foam on the surface. Marineland's water conditioner was the caused more foam than any other that I've used.
