Went to see a friend today..his tank has what looks like many small bubbles in the silicone. I did not bring my camera so I dont have a picture right now, I will try to get one later today. When you look at the seams, from top to bottom the silicone is 'whiter' where the glass panels come together, and the outer side of the silicone is full of bubbles. Hard to explain, but its silicone and bubbles, then just silicone where the pieces of glass meet. You can feel them if you run your finger down them. I am sorry for the awful description and will try to get a picture asap, but is this something to be concerned with soon? Thank you

it might burst, but thats what i would think would happen because it could weaken the seal

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of months ago. One night i randomly decided to check the seals of the tank and noticed small bubbles inside the silicone where the glass panels met. Also noticed that the silicone(black) was starting to go white and seamed as if it was deteriorating.
I was really concerned and did not know what to do. I ended up getting a new tank and plan on using my old 75g as a bearded dragon tank. I figured better be safe than sorry as my floors are hardwood and that would have cost a lot more to repair than getting a new tank. Could i have resiliconed it, sure...but i dont have a spare tank to put the fish and have a friend that works at a lfs that lets me use his employee discount. Kinda lucky i guess.

I would look into repairing/replacing the aquarium.

I would definitely keep a close eye on it. It hard to0 say for sure without pics what is really going on.
