Bubbles in surface skimmer

I recently got myself an Atman surface skimmer

Connected it to the inlet of my Atman CF-1200 canister filter.

During the first week, everything was running perfectly as shown in the pictures below

However soon after, microbubble begin to form in the skimmer.

I was wondering what is wrong with it? Anybody has encountered this problem with Atman skimmers before?

Wow, those bubbles sure look weird. Have you tried adjusting the height of the skimmer. Here's the one I use http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.c...x=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=2004&Nty=1
Maybe you can get this one. It works great. Just adjust the height of the skimmer until you get more surface water than air. Hope this helps, The Doctor.
