Buccochromis nototaenia

Is anyone keeping these fish. I was given a large group of 21 around the 2" mark. I recently moved them from my 300 g loach tank into their own 180g. I know this is not even close to what they would need for size, and I am not planning on keeping all of them. Hoping to keep 6-8 in the 180g. I have read lots of conflicting info on size, looking for someone with real life experience raising them. They are growing at an alarming rate. Since mid Feb. they have grown to 6" some more some a little less. Not to keen on Mysis, brine shrimp, or bloodworms, etc. They love flakes and cichlid pellets (but only the 3mm ones). Any guidance and info from a keeper of these please share some knowledge. Thank you
