Great pics!!!
I also have a Bucco. Rhoadesii about the same size - when I got him we tried to vent him - still can't tell if he is a male - no egg spots, yellow in the belly, face, and lower tail like yours. Do you know if you have a male? If you like Buccochromis - try and get the Buccochromis Nototaenia - they are the fastest Bucco to color up. I got mine at 3" and in 8 months he as doubled in size and has lots of color showing already. Also recently added a buccochromis lepturus green - recently - showing some color but have to wait another several months for him to grow....
Nice Champs! I love this fish. I have a 8" C. Caeruleus and just picked up a 4.5" C. Spilorhynchus male - already showing egg spots and pointed anal and dorsal fins. I need to get a female for my larger male to get his colors to really pop....
