Bucket heaters?

What temp are you looking to maintain and what's the wattage on the heater you are looking to use?

I would like to keep tropical fish in my 770 Gallon aquarium, but it's located in a room that has no heat. In the winter it can get down to the 30s on cold nights (outside temp...not sure how cold it will get in the room,), so I'm thinking I would need a huge heater to heat that much water.

Have you considered these?: http://www.koienterprise.com/Pond-Heaters/Elecro-Heaters-p-523.html

I used a bucket heater temporarily when i would move my 240 gallon, in order to get the temp up so that i could get the fish back in asap. It worked great but they get HOT quick and trip breakers often, so I'm not sure how they'd work for a permanent solution. If you use one, just make sure it doesn't burn a hole through your tank/pond.

An idea my brother-in-law had was to use one of those sticky heating pads for terrariums on a canister filter. Never tried it, but might be somthin to look into?
