Hi,

So I have 10 bucktooth tetras 2-3" and a aro 6" in a 60 gallon. Would he eat them when he grows to + 10" or he won't since they in school and got use to each other. Would like to hear from someone with experience.

Thanks,

he might end up eating them or he might not, just depends on the fish. i have a friend that raised two different silvers at different time and one grew up with neons since it had its yolk sac and would not touch them its entire life and then his other one would eat literally anything in the tank even if he had grown up with it

Bucktooth tetras? Exodons? Depends which land a bite....

He is not aggresive at all so far he hasnt even try to go near them since they control bottom of my tank and he always on top. so as cmj said there is a chance that he might not eat them :-) which makes me happy.

Isn't exodons are known for being aggressive towards other tankmates?

Most likely will eat them, but i dnt think so. The first comment is on fact, but you got 10 tetras, i don't think they will, i have experience. What type of aro do you have because jardnis tend to be more aggressive then a silver or a blue. Silver and Jardnis are the most common so i just include those only.
