I was wondering if anyone might see some problems putting one of these in a 10 gallon. from what i know 6" is bigger then normal so i thought it should be ok.

Is a 30 gallon out of question? That way you can have a group of them...they really like to be in groups.

That would be a nice species tank.

But yes, one fish in 10 gallon should work but it would not be that much fun to look at.

I had 30 Exodons in a 30 gallon and they lasted 2 years

They MUST be well fed or else they will be picked off one by one.

Also they're fairly messy... so when I had a large amount of them, I always did extra water changes... but they are great fun to watch when you have lots of them...

10 gallon is a no go. 20 gallon long minimum but preferable 40 gallon. They are a schooling fish and you should really have at least 6 of them.

But i love these guys, make piranha look like school boys.
