Hi all,
MFK keep kindly telling me I haven't posted in a while so here goes.
Just wondered if anyone on here keeps budgies.
I just got my first two on Sunday(Burt and Ernie) and I have to say they are amazing, funny little creatures, keep catching them looking at my fish.
So who else has there own Burts and Ernies?
Joe

The frog? If so you would get alot more action in the reptile and amphibians section of MFK. Just a suggestion.

I've always wanted a brown one.

what frog?! i thought the OP was talking about budgies?! little birds?!

Yep. Budgerigars. I used to keep dozens of them. It gets tiring having to replace the metal wires constantly on my large aviary though as they rust quickly allowing these birds to snip them effectively. Also found the timber portion drilled with holes that allowed 90% of them to escape. The remaining ones were moved ot my grandmother's. She still continues keeping at least a dozen of them.

They're quick breeders and can take well to bird seeds, mullets, leafy vegetables, etc.
