I currently have 3 in my tank, two of which have paired I believe. Is it safe to leave the 3rd there? They don't seem to be doing any harm right now but will there be any trouble in the future? They are about 2 in, male slightly bigger

Thank you

I've always kept them in large groups with no issues. They keep other fish out of their breeding site and that's about it.
One curious thing I've noticed though, is that when there are many adults in a tank, none of them will attack the fry, even when they wander far away from the parents. They're the only fish I've ever seen this behaviour in.

brichardi r like that too
