buffed acrylic VS new acrylic

Can a tank be buffed to look like a new tank?
And how deep is a scratch that we would see and say there is no hope for buffing? Or can any scratch be removed as long as we take time to do it?

Any scratch can be removed if you are willing to put the muscle behind it.

I think new would always be better, but that doesn't mean that you could really tell the difference one it is filled.
