Its been empty for a little while and I got the itch to set'er up again :D. This time I am removing all the tiny scratches and will be doing things right before I add water ;)

Got me a 7" buffer and some Novus#2

Nice! Plan on adding Congicus Bichirs? :D

Funny you say that cause I thought about a Congi last night as I was scanning through species in my head Lol... I think so :D

Double post, pls delete

So I'm happy with my results and ready to start the cycle...

To clean the inside of the tank, I just rinse with water n wipe it down a couple times? I read the back of novus1 n it says aquarium safe so I'm asking for some extra pointers :D

I don't want to go down the vinegar lane but if I must then I must. Pics tonight

vinegar will haze the acrylic, I plan to clean out my polished tank really well with just water before starting to cycle

Really? I thought it was another good source of cleaning... Glad I didn't do it!

Thanks, hope to have her filled up tonight :D

I tried it in a few spots and it leaves a haze when it dries, it washes off no problem, but hard to tell if it affected the surface, but it doesn't clean like vinegar on glass. Just try it in a small hidden area, or perhaps 50% diluted.
