Build a Center Brace for a 240?

looking into buying a 240 glass aquarium for 120$ off craigslist. lookds like it is in good condition but the center brace is gone/broken. my question is is there a way to safely re-enforce the center brace as i do not want 240 gallons of water on my floor.

I will be building the stand for this tank along with the hood. if it is possible to re-enforce.

if it the brace is broken find the make of the tank you can buy new sarounds for them at not to bad of a cost . if you cant get a new saround i had a friend that yoused a piece of steel that he bent 90's on each end it worked awsome on his 220. hope this helps

I bought my 240 with a broke center brace and repaired it my self. Here is the step by step thread on how I did it, let me know if it helps.
