Building 125 stand dilema

I want to build a stand for my 125g that will also hold a 55g underneath. Nothing fancy, just 2x4 rough frame. I have looked at some plans here & on GARF, but all are cabinet styles. I built a very sturdy stand for a double 40 breeder, but I am not sure if the extra length will be too much for an extra set of legs. If I put my frame outside the base, will it be supported enough? Any helpful hints appreciated.

I have a 125 stand that has a couple of tanks on the bottom, but it's made out of 1/4" steel angle.
