Building a dock for turtles, anyone got an idea?

Hey im trying to build a dock to put above my aquarium for my turtles to sun bathe on, anyone hav a good idea of what i could make this out of?

trying to make out of house hold items, not old enough to drive yet =(

why not just buy the ones that have suction cups at the lfs? if not you could attatch suction cups to a peice of wood

get a kiddie pool lol jp, how wide is the tank, you could put one on each side in a corner

I use the eggcrate that you can buy for light fixtures (it's in the lighting section at lowes for the base), and then I cut some acrylic to make walls and siliconed to the side of the tank. Cut some more egg crate to make a ramp and ceiling. This way you can fill the tank all the way up, and then you can also use the rest to cut out a top for the tank.

I made one from acrylic sheet. Heated and bent one end into a hook / U shape.
Just hooked it on one end of tank wall. My little guy was about 4 inch shell size.
