Building a Koi Pond

I have a pool which stopped being a pool about 3 years ago and I threw some Koi in which have flourished to say the least I think there are about 3 - 4 generations of Koi in there from the single batch of 20 fish i threw in initially - Also they havent been fed a thing a day in there lives - so this really is a pool built for Koi

However, Summer is coming and i want to build another koi pond so that my pool can be a pool again ..... so far I know i need to dig a hole to make the pond from there im completely lost - any information, tips, tricks or warnings would be welcomed

LOL - All of them ...not sure how many there are.... I will read through some of these posts and get an idea of previous ponds build and then fire off more questions...

Your in South Africa and stocking koi?? I would stock emperior cichlids and a mix of other amazing cichlids that are around you.
