Building a new tank I need ideas

So Ive decided to give it a shot I got a great hookup on glass an just want to know how I would piece a monster together. Do I use some type of epoxy for the glass seems the silicon the inside along them or just use silicone throughout? Also what is best type of silicon for the job?? The dems of the tank are gunna be 72*36*24 (big enough growout?)

GE silicone II CLEAR or Black witch ever ya like seems and all justy make sure you let it cure for a week or so nice and dry i have used it on several tanks!!!

Theres a lot of good tutorials and projects in the DIY section. Its a lot harder than sticking a few pieces of glass together lol

What size tank is in your avie? The driftwood in it looks neat. Good luck with the build

I think that was a 30g growout I had. Unfortunately everything was sold so I could make the move but now its time for some serious upgrades. New growouts I want to make are 210 an a 300 (72*36*24). With the main being a 900 or 1000 gallon plywood

I'd say forget the glass build.. go plywood, easy, cheap and fast. It's costs around $400 to build a 300gla with the front being mainly a glass viewing window.

Very true. I just wanna say I could do it. I will be building a 10*4*3 plywood shortly after the glass one. The glass I want as a big dislpay in house. But I do appreciate all the advise
