So I need to replace my 240 gallon. I busted the back glass while moving it. I was planning anyways to build a plywood aquarium larger so now it has to happen sooner than later. I pretty much have a design in mind and on paper. Although am going to make some changes so I can bring it inside the house without tearing the door out. So the size will be around 715 gallons according to my inner diameter measurements.
I am having issues getting any answer locally for materials.
Mainly I am looking for 1" glass and have nobody returning my calls. I live in southwest AZ and after living here for 5 years I am not surprised with the customer service down here. Anybody have any resources for glass? My 240 gallon does have a good front and side glass on it still but is only 1/2 inch. And does not meet the requirements for my new plans. Also I am thinking of doing side glass but have not seen many plywood tanks like that. Any thoughts?

There is a plywood tank on one of my local forums carolinafishtalk that has a side glass pane to view. They have one 10' front pane and maybe 2-3' side pane. It was built a few months ago and I havent heard of any structure problems from them. I know it doesnt help much but it can be done ;)
