I have a few questions that id like some opinions on.

1 if i already have a 3000L/H pump, whats the max/sugg volume of the tank. (including a sump.

2. Im thinking of making a tall tank, but im worried about vacuuming, any suggestions.

3. any one come up with a PVP pipe design for the sump bevils (spelling :P) The walls that kill the bubbles and even out the currents.

Thats all for now. Thanks dudes.

That measurement is at zero head (height). And this would turn the a 3000l tank water over less than once per hour. It's usually 3-5 times per hour, equaling 1000l to 600l tank.

Extensions on the vacuum pipe? It just takes longer to do the work as it is slower moving.

Translation or pix please :D

Ill be making a sump but ill used a container that doesn't have a flat bottom and tapered walls where the bottom is slightly thinner then the top (opening) Like a big square bucket. SO to cut and seal walls in the sump for bevels are painstaking and annoying. i was hoping to use somesort of piping to accomplish the purpose of the walls inside a sump tank.
