how can i build a sump big enough to handle 6-9 20 gallon tanks ? i would like to support up to 300 gallons of water.
i would like to use a 55 gallon barrel. this will allow me to drain and fill this barrel for a Water change instead of draining each tank one by one.
i have this set up on a smaller scale. its a 35 gallon barrel supporting my 40 gallon breeder and a 20 gallon tank. it has nothing in it right now but the concept works great for water changes.
my question to you all is .. if i use this 55 gallon barrel for all these tanks will it be able to handle the load of 300 gallons of breeding tanks.
and .... what do i put in this barrel.....
also what pump to handle all this...
