Hey Everyone,
I am building a stand for my 120 which is 4 by 2 by 2 feet dimensions.
I also want my stand to be around 30inchs high so I was thinking about doing the following for my stand which will have dimensions of 49 by 25 by 30 inchs:
The outside frame on the top and bottom will have 2by4s overlapping the whole outside box, and then the inside of the box will be resing on the inside of the 4by4 legs...does this make sense?
using:
1) 4 by 4 for the legs at 24 inch long (4 Legs)
2) 2 by 4's for the rest which would be: 4x 49inchs (Outside of the frame)
4x 45inchs (Inside of the frame)
these 8 pieces of wood would be doubled up of course and glued together
4x 21inch
4x 17inchs
these 8 pieces of wood would also be doubled up of course and glued together
What do you guys think?
I will also be putting those metal braces at each joint to help keep it all together and I will glue everything together.
Thanks!
