Well Im just about done building my new 200gal sump for the pond. Its got about 180gal area for scrubbies, than the second chamber which will house a heater and than back out into the pond( gravity feed sitting slightly above the pond. Anyway my dimensions for the bio filter area are 4x2x3' (LxWxH) now my question is how high should I put the return drains? I was thinking 1' above the bottom. What do you think? I want some of the scrubbies to always have water on them that way in a power outage some of the bacteria live. Any input will be appreciated.
