im thinking of building a 200gal tank and filtration system. while im pretty handy and dont think i will have much of a problem. i was wondering how much water would be good to continiously run through it.I have two 55 gal. tanks and a 30 gal. tank available. I was planning on making a sump pump filtration system and was wondering if it would be better to use two pumps.Basically,would it be better to use one filtration system or two?

Dual systems are always better as you don´t have as many problems when one of the pumps gives up the ghost. as for flow rates i´d go with at least 4x tank turnover an hour.
