www.mcmaster.com has almost everything, including filters fiberglass and acrylic.
www.selectproducts.com should have both items as well

Also try TAP Plastics
The have all the adheasives you'll ever need for acrylic...

where would you go about looking for the materials and knowhow to build one of the mega-tanks that i've seen on here, ok, not quite as large as the 15K, but maybe around a 5K?
