building glass tanks with windows ?

I found an add for some free windows i don't have the thickness verified can you build small tanks say 20 gallons with really thin glass would it be worth it? i would have to get them cut or cut them.

I mentioned i needed 1/4 '' but?

I wouldn't be comfortable with it. Most modern glass windows have gas in between the panes that would not be good for fish. Older windows were fairly thin and not made to handle any kind of stress. For a tank that small, I would just buy one from an LFS.
