I have a pond that I would like to build a new filter for. I'm thinking of using a pool pump. My question is what size pump to use? I see 1/6 horse pumps that claim 3000gph which would be perfect. But then I see 1/4 horse pumps that are rated at like half the gph. I just seem to find pool pumps rated in hp and can't find a gph rating on any of them. Anyone know what hp pump I'm looking for? Between 2000-3000 gph
