hi well i am getting a big 4x4 bin dunno how tall starting winter break and im goin to build a wooden framing and prolly some sorta filtration for it. but i have a big problem
i wanna put a viewing window in the pond. and that woudl require me to cut the really thick plastic and some how get a piece of see through material stuck onto the tank and not leak.
so how woudl i do that?
i was thinkn acrylic or glass?
silicone or what else?
how thick of material.
is it even possible?

Hi I was going to put a window in my pond at the start but as in a fish room and I wanted to insulate it all round I didn't bother but when I looked into it here are a few ideas and think I found out. I was going to use acrylic over glass for my window, based on weight, cost, clarity but the problem being as silicone does not really bond to acrylic very well and I could get a good deal on the glass you would cut your hole out rough up the edges clean then run a good thick bead of silicone round then run braces and clamp it in place it give it a week to cure then for added protection seal the front the water pressure will also push the glass against the front of the pond. Glass thickness I used this chart

hope this help.
