Building stand for 55 gal maybe canopy too

the build is coming along very well just finished building it just got to add the triming sand it down and paint,i always forget to take the pictures lol but as soon as i can i will
having some trouble uploading the pictures lol so i will try again in a little bit thanks for bareing with me

any tips on how i should paint the wood what color? stain or w.e just dot it down and give me some plans
