Ok guys im going to build a plywood tank 7ft (L) 36''(W) 24''(H) and need some help?? First will 3/8'' work for that tank size? If any one has some detailed pics would help I have pretty good carpenter skills lol be this is a first for me and I want to do it right thanks for all ur help!!!
 
3/8" plywood? No. (well, with enough bracing maybe :D)

3/8" glass double No.

Do a search on here there are several people that have just built or are still building.

i would go with full inch plywood.
and full inch glass.
to be on the safe side.

Ok Ive been to the hardware store and know I have a stupid question lol !! Do I really need 1in plywood?
 
you can glue two pieces of 1/2 inch together. I ran into the same thing when I needed some 1" stock for a bass guitar cabnet I was building. Parts of it where even doubled 3/4" voidless birch.
