Hi again. A lot of the hotels in my area are being remodeled, and I'm thinking I could get my hands on some of those enormous thick glass doors they pull out of lobbies. Would these work for the viewing area of a concrete tank? These things should be tempered & pretty safe, no?

Though it is stronger than nontempered glass it can not be cut or drilled after the tempering process is done.

Glass previously used as a hotel door will surely work as a viewing window in a concrete tank...

As mentioned, tempered glass cannot be cut or drilled, but from what I understand you will be building a custom tank and thus can accomodate the glass as it comes without cutting or drilling it.
