Well after playing with the last one for a couple of days it was time to build something else. I returned my Fluval 205 and got my $119 back. Went to my local Mom and Pops store where I do mostly looking but they have the best price for tank sometimes. Picked up a 29g from them and a 5g bucket of bio balls since the dollar stores were out of scrubbies. But I did pick up 2 3 drawer paper holders for $6 ea at the dollar stores. I was able to fit 2.5 gallons of bioballs into the 4 drawers and the top one is for polyfiber filter material, need to get more at Wal Mart. Stopped and picked up some more pvc fittings from menards and have been busy the last few hours building. Instead of drilling holes in the drawers for flow I cut out all but a 1/2" rim and cut down the last of my egg crate material. I also rebuilt my overflow so that it is now 1 1/4" PVC and got my UV hooked up so I can get the water sparkling. Doing a water change as I type. Enjoy...

That is very nice indeed! I have a question though. Do you have a T connector for the return line from the wet/dry? The last photo seems like it.

There is a Tee right above the pump to split it to my uv and the tank I'm running as slow as possible to my 9 watt UV. the spray bar it plumbed from one side to the other where I plugged it over the back wall of the tank so my spray bar would hang right. will try and get some pics of it.

Here are a few more pics of it up and running... Anyone have an 18 watt Coralife 6x forsale?

your air check valve on your overflow seems like its to far down(the tip of it)wouldnt it just suck water?
IMO, not critisizing!

But nice job on the wet/dry!! you should lower your water level in it. looks like you have room

I keep a DIY waterchanger going so that is my set level.
