built in overflow

i'm currently having a 180 gal tank built and would like to know how large should the bulkheads on the built in overflow should be to have at least a 1200 gph flow rate... would 2 holes of 1inch be enough? size of the overflow box would be 10x5 inches... is that enought?

It sould be good. I use a 2" bulkhead and i have 2 of them running on my 240, with a pump rated at 2000 gph

So, would a single 1.5" drain bulkhead be ok on a 180g? Thinking of using mag24 as the pump
