Yesterday after my filter failedo on me, I noticed that the black back on my 40G plexi wasnt straight....it looked like it was buldging. Is this due to my heater hanging on the black back wall? Is this extremely bad? i cant afford to buy another tank as of right now.:cry::cry:...but if its of great importance, then i will have to work something out...I love my fishes to much to get rid of them.

It could burst. If you can i would lower the water level below the bulge until you can replace it.

can you take a pic of it so we can see what youre talking about. where is it bulging? is it where the filter is and the filter is pulling it? is it just pulling or does it have a melted look to it?

put a straight edge across the back and take a pic so we can see how bad the bow is

All tanks, especially acrylic ones, bow somewhat. It depends how far the bend is.
