Buliding a 33G/55G stacker stand.

I just completed building my 55G tank stand:

Now I just picked up a 48" 33G tank with the exact same base as a 55G tank and plan on building a stacker. My plan is to put the 55G on the bottom pretty much on the floor, with the 33g on top at about 26". I am going to use fluval internal filters as I have these allready so the stand can flush mount to the wall. I also plan on wiring this stand with 14/2G wire and GFI receptables along with a light timer and a switch also with night lights and manual on off switches.

Do you think the 55G on top or the 33G on top will look better ?

That's a nice stand! I think the stack combo would look better with the taller tank on top, and both tanks a little higher. It's hard to see anything in a tank on the floor!

I would put the smaller tank on to just because it's 2/3 the wieght of the 55g.
