I just picked up a reeflo BF 3600, getting ready to drill my tank.

Since this pump has 2" ID connectors, should I run two 2" standpipes from tank to the sump and 2" from sump to tank? or reduce the standpipes to 1.5"?

its usually better to keep the suction side as large as possible, but two pipes of 1.5" have a great area than a 2" pipe, so either should work fine

I'm getting ready to run a reeflo super dart on a 300. I'm drilling both overflows with 1 1/2" bulkheads.... two each overflow. You should have plenty with 1 1/2" drains, especially if you run a full siphon, Herbie style...

I plan on running 1" returns

I was planning on two 2" intake pipes

I think you need more than one 2" stand pipe.

I was draining a 3400gph pump with one 1.5" pipe, FWIW.

Did you have the output throttled with a valve ? what was your head height?
If I can use just one pipe it will cut the bulkhead costs drastically and those sch 80 fittings are not inexpensive. Thank you for the reply!

Not throttled at all. Head was about 5.5 ft
