Bulkhead question?

I want to use a 1.5in bulkhead in a 2.75 in hole. Is it ok it is a little loose? They recommend a 2.5 in hole.

It should be fine, always test it

Just make sure you have plenty of coverage. And.... as stated above, you might test it out.

If you are a little sketchy, use silicone one gasket, the INSIDE gasket. If you use it on the outside it may be really hard to remove later as silicone could get on the threads.
