Threaded Bulkhead

FPT x FPT
3/4" (1 1/2" Hole)
1" (1 3/4" Hole)
2" (3 1/4" Hole)
3" (4 1/2" Hole)

This is from Petsolutions' website. I'm trying to get some bulkheads but am confuse with what was given. Does the above info state that for a 1-1/2" hole I would have to get the 3/4" bulkhead?

I have four 1-1/2" holes, two 2" holes and two 2-1/2" holes. What would be the correct bulkheads to go with? Help.

You are correct. But..........just for that type of bulkhead. Your example sounds like a heavier schedule 80 type bulkhead (grey in color). Hole sizes are almost double the bulkhead size for schedule 80. If you look around maybe even that same web site you will see the thinner bulkheads (black in color) with a much larger ratio between hole size and bulkhead size.

I wouldn't base it on the holes you have. I would base it on what your trying to accomplish with your filtration. Then use the holes if they work, and if not, drill your own.

I was planning on using the two 2" holes (at the bottom of the overflows) and the two 2-1/2" holes on the back of the tank for draining down to the sump and then use the 1-1/2", which are also on the back of the tank, for returns.

Sounds about right.

The Schedule 80 1" bulkheads take a 2" hole, while schedule 40 take a 1 3/4"

So thru researching, I think I'm suppose to get the 1" bulkheads for the 1-1/2" and 2" holes, and the 1.5 bulkheads for the 2-1/2" holes. I think thats right...can anybody confirm this?

Not according to your chart.
1 3/4" = 1", not 1 1/2 = 1
2" = 1" schedule 80 bulkheads.
2 1/2 = 1.5"
