I bought a tank with a 3/4 inch bulkhead in the back. Is there anyway I can make the hole bigger and put a bigger bulkhead in without messing up the tank?

I'd like to open so I can get a 1.5 inch bulkhead in it or one that will handle a flow rate of about 400 gph with a strainer on the bulkhead. Any thoughts?

CHOMPERS rig in this case, for glass or plastic.

Glass drills mostly dont have a centering bit so drilling out the hole should be no trouble.Youll just have to fasten something under the hole to keep water on the bit while drilling

Id say your only option is CHOMPERS drilling jig. an good luck.
