bulkheads

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's more a question of what's psycially possible... water flows through the bulkhead by gravity so it has a limit based on the diameter of the pipe.

okay, so what would that limit be? maybe this would help, I have 2 pumps each does 2200gph, how many bulkheads do I need to get that done?
or can I just make them bigger and still only have 2, and if I did, how big do they need to be?

Who we need for this is rally because any answer I give would be a guess at this point But I do know that most of the overflows I've seen listed for 900gph and up ...start at 2"....

Well, the higher the water gets over the overflow, the more pressure, and therefor more flow. I do know that I had to trottle back my something-or-the-other 3600 with a ball check valve at 5' head height and a 1.5" overflow. Maybe 2 2"ers will handle 2 2200 pumps.
