Is that in ballistecs gel? I totally spelt that wrong, but that look like the stuff they use in mythbusters, and then they just put in the liscence, and such in it, and shoot the bullet through. Or maybe I am just wrong... Cool pics though!

I think they shot it from point blank. But speeking of sharpshooters, you ever see that old guy on OLN throw two asprin in the air and shoot them with a revolver? Pretty sweet.

its still not easy even if you fire it point blank.
 
I've seen how they do that on the discovery channel, or something......they put the gun in a jig similar to the ones they use to dial in scopes. No one is actually holding it.
 
I didn't mean it was easy, but it would be a hell of a lot easier than from a distance.
