They get to 5 pounds here. I catch them by the netfull here. It blows my mind that there is a place where someone buys them.

He is a cool looking catfish I’ve kept him in my 300 gallon then my pond but now I’d like to keep some small koi and worried he’d eat them
So really just wmat him to find a good home a large pond would be idea
I’d let him for for free of someone can provide a forever home for him

Yeah he's still got a good 3-6in left to grow. From what I've noticed in wild bullhead is that they can reach upto 14-16in fully grown and have an appetite to match lol. Not entirely sure about them being a true wet pet but it's possible if ya hand train em.

Yeah they are kind of like Oscars in the fact that they act like trash compactors lol. I used to even catch em on fishing spoons with no baits or scents added to it. Even caught a few on empty hooks.
