About a year ago my buddy was able to get his hands on five tiny baby bull heads.."black bullheads"...Now as far as i understand they've been housed in a small 2.5 gal tank for a year:eek:. The biggest one is pushing two inches...the smallest is about 1.5"...he says they have been that size for about 9 months now:eek:.....he's been feeding them krill and and chopped up market shrimp the whole time....My question is...If I was to take them and give them a proper home for the time being..are they still going to grow...?

I understand its extremely wrong but I just found this out the other day he came over to my house and asked me if i wanted a catfish....

they are majorly stunted and will probably die prematurely. theres a slight possibility you could bring them around but i wouldnt count on it

I got one. July 24 08'ish, at 1/4'' now 5''. How much food does the cat eat?

man-even if you moved them to a 10 gal at this point theyd love life.(im not saying to do that)but I would try and save them

Yeah I agree with these other guys they are probably stunted after being in that small of a tank for so long. The ones I have kept grow about an inch per month if properly housed. Either way its worth a shot to try and save them.

Well they may grow more slightly bigger if they are housed properly and proper foods but i doubt that they will reach more than 9 inch long.
