Bullhead "catfish"

Are these considered to be true catfish? I think I saw somewhere they arn't... I have one thats about 4 inches long. WC in a minnow trap in the summer time. Realy cool fish.:nilly:

wha t, how are they not cat fish, they are as much catfish as any other "catfish". they are one of my personal favorites
 
considered A-typical catfish. Want something not typical look at candiru catfish, or whale catfish, or even plecos.
 
Definitely real catfish. They're about as much catfish as you can get, with the typical whiskered predator that eats anything it can get it's hands on.

They also taste good...:drool:
 
yea definetly a catfish...we catch em all the time here in southeast ga, my buddy has a teeny one in his tank right now that he caught with a dip net...and if u ever feel brave stick your finger in the mouth of one of these little bastards!!! LOL
 
oh no,keep your finger away from its mouth or youll be sorry.Ive had mine for about 7yrs and im pretty sure he hates me,im really sure he bites
 
o yea they bite and they bite hard! ive had my finger nipped a few times tryin to remove a hook and they have got some damn pressure in those teeny jaws haha
