Depends on the size of the bullhead. Biggest one I have ever had was 14in long. I have had them in size tanks 20-75. They aren't picky at all. Do anything to your tank, feed them anything. They are tough.
Good luck getting them in UK because you need a permit to keeping them and no LFS bother to buy permit for sell coldwater species from North America. The min tank size for two smallest bullhead would be 100gal tank depends on their personalities (aggressive, timid, bold or lazy)
Every Bullhead i have kept was uber lazy! He would only ever move to get food and then go back to his spot under the log. Neet fish to keep, but i wouldnt make them the 'centerpiece' of the tank.

I agree on the lazy part lol. I caught 2 of them about 3" long and put them in my 55g, within 2 weeks one of them had more or less killed the other. Within about a year he was 12", hand fed, and kinda enjoyed being rubbed on the head. But yeah lazy...he would not move from his hiding spot unless I tapped the tank a little, which was his que to feed.
