Bullhead safe tankmate size?

Hello,

I've been playing with the idea of adding a Midas to my 75 gallon that is housing my two 12" bullheads.

The catfish seem really tough so far and just started to eat frozen shrimp so that's great!

What I'm worried about is the catfish eating the Midas.
What size would the Midas have to be to avoid becoming a snack at night?

If it can fit in it's mouth, it will eat it. My bullhead is 14" and can put away almost anything thats not bigger than it is.

Round fish like Pumpkinseed will be fine as long as there almost as large as your bullheads and have some sort of structure.

Unfortunately the bullheads are already between 12-14" so the OP needs to find some biggest sunfish or cichlid he can find. I personally witnessed a 14" bullhead swallowed a 9" pumpkinseed.
Also I don't think a 75gal can house two messy fish and an aggressive glass banger for longer periods.
