Bullheads and Hard Water

Can a Brown Bullhead tolerate hard water? I was thinking of crankin up the hardness a little bit to add some anubias to the tank.

Will the brown bullhead eat my amazon sword?

The Minnesota river has extremely hard water and there is a bullhead population, so my guess is that you're fine.

Most fish will handle a change in water hardness. If it is extreme, you will want to slowly change it.

Bullhead will probably not eat the plants but will uproot them.
