I am planning on rescuing a 26 inch Channa Maurulius ( bullseye snakehead ) but can I keep it with a pair of 18 inch Alligator gars in a 8ft * 3.5ft * 3.5ft outdoor tank. I know the tank size is temporary. I had never kept a channa Maurulius and I want to know their temperament with other fish. Pls share your opinions and experience. Would my gars be killed?

you could try but there's certainly a risk . alligator gars are pretty tough species tho. i think you should try but do also have a plan if anything goes wrong. temprament may vary from specimen to specimen . so it all depends. if it lived solo before i would not advice keeping in with gars but if it was kept with others (channas) probably then you could .
