My juvenile silver arowana is suddenly turning aggressive towards my juvenile bichirs.
It doesn't let them come out of the cave and seems to chase them back in every time they try to get out.

i don't think its because its hungry or anything like that... cos i feed them regularly...
in fact the tank is full of feeder guppies at the moment....

what to do????
is that normal???
i'm going to be moving all of them into a bigger tank next month.. will that make things better???

tank size could have a lot to do with it. Provide some more hiding spots on the bottom, try a bigger tank, and go from there.

well, they're all not that big... hardly 7 inches.... and so they're all in a 2ft tank.

But will be moving all of them into a 4ft tank next month.

Eventually will be investing in a 8ft or 10ft tank once i've settled down in one place. Now i can't cos' i'm still moving around quite a bit and unsure of where i'll be permanently based, so to speak.

The tank size is probably the problem, they are probably getting cramped in a small "territory." I agree w/ Steve, seperating them is probably the best option.
